The 36-year-old woman from Utah was arrested last Monday and charged with child abuse. The child reportedly was being held in a dirty bathroom in the house, in a small town in southeastern Utah. The 12-year-old transported to the medical center, his father, who found him locked up in the house of the woman, covered with a blanket.
The researchers believe that the mother kept the child locked in the dark. It was also so malnourished that he could not stand upright.
A communication from the police described the situation of the toilet, noting that she was covered with feces and that the basin was “full to the point that you couldn’t see water”. In accordance with the Fox network, the child was locked in this situation for a year. Two more children, brothers and sisters of the 12-year-old, were removed from the home, without having to be examined by a doctor. One of them said that the last conversation they had with their brother, through the door, it was six months ago.
