Ουμανιτέ: “First cause of the refugee, the wars of the European countries….”

“The first cause of the great influx of refugees, the wars carried out by european countries,” argues in an extensive article…
Jean-Jacques Ρεζιβιέ, the Sunday Ουμανιτέ.
The publication is based on the data published recently by the European Union, pursuant to which, 1.3 million refugees who have sought asylum in 2015 came in their majority, from the three warring countries : Syria, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Wars which have involved many european countries.
It is a reality that many try to make it be forgotten, while others arrive at the contest” notes Ουμανιτέ.
However, the thousands of refugees who crowded at the doors of Europe fell “from heaven”, but is the direct consequence of the conflict in which many european countries have been involved for several years, says the author, quoting and statement of Irish mep Μαρτίνας Anderson : “Member-states, among which Great Britain play a leading part in many conflicts that have caused the refugee crisis,” said the mep.
According to the publication, the number of 1.3 million. of asylum seekers for 2015 has been doubled compared with the previous year, ( … ) largest number of which come from Syria, who have reached 400,000 in 2015.
It is recalled that the war in Syria has started before five years and over the United States and the Gulf states, many european countries are directly involved, with objectives that have been altered at times, with a permanent but voltage, the increase of military interventions with dramatic consequences, particularly for their citizens.
The main european countries involved in Syria are : France, Great Britain, Belgium, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal and to a lesser extent, Italy, Estonia, Poland and Albania.
“The war in Syria is, therefore, a european war, and is today no justification for the intensification of the interventions in Syria, without taking into see that such actions cause automatically a new influx of refugees” is highlighted.
The Ουμανιτέ lists, then the numbers of displaced refugees, asylum seekers, from the three warring countries.
From Syria : in a total of 10 million inhabitants who have moved, 4 million. have left the country, the majority of which have received the neighbouring countries :
Lebanon 1.2 million, Turkey 2 million, Jordan 650.000, Iraq 250,000 and Egypt 130.000.
From Afghanistan asylum seekers in a european country quadrupled last year reaching the 178.200.
The newspaper reminds that the war which continues today, while the media seem to have forgotten, it takes 36 years. It is noted the advisory role of NATO (with the participation of Europeans) to the government troops.
From Iraq, the number of asylum-seekers, have increased sevenfold in 2015, reaching the 121.500. Here the war started 13 years ago with the initiative of the Americans and some european countries (…) are still visible a prospect of peace.
“Before we talk about feelings of generosity and solidarity towards refugees, we have to talk about the responsibility that you have to recognize and take the european countries for these conflicts : the refugees who flock to our borders is first and foremost victims of the wars in which it participates in the Europe” highlights the author.
The publication lists then Eurostat data on asylum seekers per european country.
In accordance with the elements, each other than isosorbide is the distribution of asylum seekers in european countries. And while the applications in Europe have doubled in a year, the impressive thing is that France has one of the smaller rates of increase, just 20% compared with 2014, while the applications in Hungary grew by 320%, in Austria by 230%, in Belgium by 180%, or even in Spain by 170%.
The publication refers to an end to the threats of France to Great Britain, that could stop guarding the borders and will let you leave the immigrants in the case of a Brexit.
“Every French government that respects itself” believes the author, “I have long had to remind the british government that we are no longer in the era where the bourgeois of Calais, tabled the key to the city at the feet of the king of England. That belongs no longer to the British, as in all european countries to take their responsibility for the problems the refugees themselves have contributed to be caused by their military involvement in the countries of origin of the refugees,” stresses the Ουμανιτέ.degrees of 2016 .
